Guests can experience two award-winning golf courses at one of Florida’s iconic venues with an option for a trap and skeet shooting experience.
The experience begins with the must-play El Campeón (The Champion), one of the oldest 18-hole courses in the South, honored as the No. 1 golf course in Florida by Golf Advisor. Opened in 1917 – and an original member of the Florida Historic Golf Trail – El Campeón offers a classic design accentuating the landscape’s 85-foot elevation changes that are unique to central Florida.
Las Colinas (The Hills), which opened in 1992, lives up to its name with wide fairways rolling over gentle rises. Las Colinas incorporates water hazards on many holes, with large, undulating greens surrounded by tropical vegetation.
The El Cazador Trap and Skeet Range offers guests a unique opportunity to participate in clay sports. In trap, a single machine throws targets as the competitor moves through five different stations. In skeet, two machines throw targets while participants move through a semi-circle of stations. Targets, shells, guns, eye and ear protection, safety and instructional advice are included in the package.
The two golf courses, coupled with the shooting experience, present three distinctive challenges and the Shoot Fore Par! package, which also includes:
