On this private & fully escorted excursion you will spend three days playing golf at some of the best courses in Catalonia, each round being followed by an extravaganza of traditional food & wine unlike anything you will have ever experienced before.
The Costa Brava region boasts the highest concentration of Michelin star restaurants including the home of the Rocca brothers’ world-renowned El Celler de Can Rocca restaurant. Following a short flight from the UK we will transfer you directly to the PGA Catalunya Golf Resort, where you will be personally welcomed by your hosts & to enjoy 18 holes of golf on the famed European Tour Stadium Course, host of many Spanish Opens. Following your round and light lunch you will be transferred to Girona, a short 20 minute drive away for an escorted tour of the culinary pleasures of the historic town
A tour of the local markets, bakeries, producers of meats, cheeses, olive oil and traditional local pastries and wine will culminate in a visit to Girona´s most famous home-made ice-cream shop. Carrying the seal of quality from the youngest of the Roca brothers, pastry chef Jordi Roca, who can often be found serving customers in the shop.
Daily golf at Golf Peralada & Playja de Pals will be followed on successive days with an exploration of the olive groves with tasting at Ventalló, dinner with wine pairing at the 1 star Michelin Castell Peralda, restaurant found in the turret of a medial castle, a visit to the first Catalan cider making operation at Mooma – with tasting of course – and finishing with a sumptuous dinner at the Vicus Restaurant in the heart of Pals, where the very best of Catalan cuisine will be created for you.
