QUINTA DO LAGO NEW DINING EXPERIENCE SIZZLES WITH EASTERN PROMISE

Golfers are being invited to look east to sample the latest dining experience on offer at Portugal’s Quinta do Lago with the launch this spring of the first Asian restaurant at Europe’s premier golf and lifestyle resort.

UMAMI opened its doors to residents, members and guests for the first time this month, with the promise of modern Asian cuisine that is authentic but not traditional.

Located in the Private Resident’s Club in the heart of the Quinta do Lago estate, the luxury boutique restaurant features a sophisticated twist on the traditional Asian style of informal of eating and drinking, with the elegant setting providing the perfect place for an intimate dinner or to celebrate a special occasion with friends or loved ones.

Showcasing a variety of dishes from the sushi counter and the robata grill using locally sourced Algarve produce, sushi, seafood and extensive sharing menusare all be available, together with an exclusive array of exotic cocktails to explore.

UMAMI is the latest addition to Quinta do Lago’s portfolio of 13 high-class bars and restaurants that deliver an array of delicious world cuisines; including Casa do Lago, which serves locally-sourced fish, Casa Velha – providing fine French gastronomy –Bovino, a refurbished steakhouse that is one of the most exclusive dining experiences in the Algarve, and the sports gastro pub, Dano’s Sports Bar & Restaurant.

In addition, players can tuck into a vibrant dining experience at the resort’s golf clubhouse which underwent a modern and sophisticated makeover last summer, part of a recent multi-million Euro investment in the resort’s golf facilities including the €7m upgrade of its iconic South Course.

Set amongst 2,000 acres of the picturesque Ria Formosa Natural Park and just a 15-minute drive from Faro airport, Quinta do Lago has been at the forefront of Europe’s elite golf, sports and family destinations for nearly five decades and features a combination of world-class golf and lifestyle facilities.
